Sunday Services at Brookside

Think of a church service and what comes to mind may be cold wooden pews, dusty hymn books, singing hymns from hundreds of years ago, boring sermons and so on. Well at Brookside we believe God wants worship to be enjoyable and, while tradition has its place, there is room for informal worship too where people smile, discuss, have fun and make things.

We are always delighted to see new people come through our door and to provide them with a warm welcome. After morning services tea, coffee and biscuits are served in the lounge where there is the opportunity to get to know us better.

If there is anything that you want to talk about, good or bad, then we have people who are willing to listen and, if you want, pray for the situation.

First Sunday of the month

10.30am - Communion Service (most months)

4.30pm - Alternate Worship

Cafe Worship - January, March, May, July, September, November 

Messy Church - February, April, June, October, December

Second Sunday of the month

9.00am - Traditional Communion Service

10.30am - All-Age Worship

6.30pm - Circuit Service, held at a Methodist Church in Peterborough

Third, Fourth and Fifth Sundays of the month

     10.30am - Traditional Service

     6.30pm - Worship in the Lounge
